Delta Airlines To Fly Austin to Paris
Delta Airlines bets even heavier on Austin. This is the first long-haul route from Austin offered by any U.S. carrier and continues to show their dominance at the city. The route will be operated by Delta’s A330-900NEO aircraft, offerring 224 coach, 28 premium economy, and 29m business class seats. This route has timed conections to joint venture partner Air-Frances routes. Popular connections include Nice, marseille, Barcelona, Rome, Madrid, Lisbon, Florence, Copenhaven, Geneva, Zurich, and Milan. This route is likely to not be very profitable for Delta, but is flown in attempt to get credit card customers where the credit card revenue increase is projected to outweigh the route costs. Delta already has a strong market share and has won a chunk of market share from American and this will just continue that.
